Abstract

As psychrometers for measuring soil water potential
become readily available, scientists are increasingly interested
in utilizing the technique. Our purpose in the
following pages is to suggest some useful applications of
this method for studying the properties of soil and related
systems. We will also point out some of the present
limitations so that persons beginning work in this area
may make the best possible use of their initial efforts.
