Abstract
IN recent years increased municipal,
industrial, recreational, and agricultural
use of water has intensified concern
about quality. Irrigated agriculture,
in particular, has been indicted
for contaminating both surface and
ground waters with surface and subsurface
runoff from irrigated lands.
